The 'Prairie House' along Bukit Ayer Molek
House 1A at Bukit Ayer Molek.
Came across this house on the expressway on my way back from school the other day and went back to make paint it. I love its 'prairie house' proportion and how it is built on a slope, following the land's natural contours. I didn't see any bodies of water so I don't know where the air molek (beautiful water) is.
Hello there. First, may I congratulate you on an excellent blog and your exceptional talent. Wonderful artwork ! I am writing this as this is a beautiful painting of my father's house. I grew up here - the ayer molek is probably because this is a water catchment area with an underground reservoir at the top of the hill ( Murnane Reservoir ). Used to have lots of running water down the slopes whenever it rained. May I find out if I can procure this painting for my parents ?
